InstaAdvent Day 9: when I cleaned out my grandparents’ house a couple of months ago—check out my older posts for the story of that adventure!—I brought home all the sheet music from the piano bench. This collection of carols was published in 1938, when my mother was just 7 years old. @bustedhalo #festivetunes #vintagechristmas #christmascarols #bhadvent19
InstaAdvent Day 8: Our parish #givingtree is the only time this empty nester gets to buy toys for Christmas! #futuregrandma #bhadvent19
InstaAdvent day 7: Yes, a day late because I was too busy mixing and mingling to post! #mixandmingle #christmascheer #bhadvent19
InstaAdvent day 6: This is the tomb of St. Monica in Rome. I have a special affection for Monica; she prayed unceasingly for the conversion of her pagan son, the emperor Constantine. Sometimes our kids need special help from above and I’ve reached out to St. Monica to intercede for my boys more times than I can count. Because of her dedication, she is not only the patron of mothers, but for #patience too. St. Monica, in this time of waiting for Jesus, pray for us! #stmonica #bhadvent19 #catholic
InstaAdvent day 5: New York City does the Christmas #windowdisplay best! This little diva is from #bergdorfgoodman last year. #newyorkcitychristmas #newyorkcity #bhadvent19
InstaAdvent day 3: Sound on! These ladies are giving it their all to raise money for the #salvationarmy Take a cue from their heart for the needy and make a donation to your favorite charity! #givingtuesday #catholiclife #bhadvent19
